Service & Parts
We’ve been serving drivers from Matthews, Wildwoods, and beyond for over a quarter of a century, and our dedication to our customers is evident. This extends beyond simply selling or leasing you a new VW car or SUV. We’re there for you every step of the way with a service department that’s here to help keep your VW at its best.
Volkswagen cars and SUVs are known for their exceptional quality, but even high-quality vehicles require regular service to stay at their best. At Carolina Volkswagen, you’ll find a service center staffed with expert technicians who will gladly help you with whatever service your VW needs. You’ll find out more about a few services below, but this is just a small selection of what we offer.
If you drive a VW with a gas engine that was made any time from 2004 to now, it will require synthetic oil. One of synthetic oil’s benefits is that it lasts longer; oil changes are recommended every 10,000 miles or once a year. If you have a TDI engine, we also stock synthetic diesel oil, which gives you the same maintenance interval.
The tire department at Carolina Volkswagen is ready to help you take good care of your tires. Foundational to this are two services: tire rotation and tire inspection. Having these performed regularly can greatly increase your tires’ lifespan. We also offer additional tire services, from installation to repair.
Misaligned wheels are sometimes caused when your vehicle hits a pothole or curb, but they can also happen from the rigors of daily driving. That’s why we recommend that you have the alignment inspected once a year. If our technicians see that the camber, toe, or caster angle is out of whack, they can precisely re-align the angles.
Though it usually happens somewhere between 25,000 miles and 50,000 miles, brake pads can get worn down at just about any time. That’s why regular brake inspections are important. If we see anything amiss with your braking system, we can help remedy it.
The battery in your VW plays an important role in starting the vehicle, so don’t let it die on you. Come to Carolina Volkswagen for a battery test. If you need a new battery, we sell them here and will gladly install a replacement.
Whether your VW has a manual or automatic transmission, it will need a transmission fluid exchange. We recommend that you have this service performed every 30,000 miles. In addition to exchanging the fluids, we’ll also inspect the transmission housing and other components.
