Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take vehicles to the stall area after receiving work orders from the dispatcher.
• Work on vehicles according to all dealership and factory standards, working efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Figure out the root cause of malfunctions and repair said causes as authorized by the customer.
• Maintain good communication with the Parts Department to retrieve necessary parts.
• If the job is under warranty or the customer requests it, make sure to set aside and tag the parts that need to be turned in.
• Let the service advisor know of any changes to the repair’s time schedule, including when more time is needed, if more work is required, or if less work is necessary.
• Make and keep adequate documentation of all work performed.
• Ensure work has satisfied customer complaints through the use of road tests.
• Perform quality checks on work done.
• Come to all training classes.
• Stay up-to-date with all factory technical bulletins issued.
• Keep the customer’s car clean throughout service or repair.
• Administer all safety and housekeeping procedures as required.
• Know and work in accordance with all federal, state, local, and other guidelines and ordinances regarding vehicle repair and service.
